Some things are worth celebrating ... like a great idea ... or a great company that has been, since its inception in 1957, turning ideas into reality. As of January 2002, Polyrama Plastics has been under current management for 15 years. Within that time, the company has grown from a size of 5 to now over 30 employees. In the last seven years, it has doubled its staff and revenue. During its busiest periods - traditionally January to September - the plant operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Initially Polyrama was focused on the fabrication of rigid and flexible Plastic materials. As the company evolved, it invested in new manufacturing technologies. In the late 1960s, Polyrama Plastics established itself as one of the first Rotational Moulding companies in North America by acquiring this new technology.
Throughout its history, Polyrama has continally invested in process enhancements, modern equipment and efficient manufacturing systems.
Our staff's expertise dates back to the late 1960s and is blended with an array of talented individuals who have joined the company along the way.
The Polyrama Plastics' stock and custom product line is substantial, including durable plastic transport and storage tanks, open and closed top containers, rain catchers, trays, tote boxes, laundry carts, playground equipment, industrial components and containers and traffic barricades. The company's research and development department is continually working on new product lines such as spill containment barricades and low profile transport tanks.

From the conceptual stage, through production of finished product, our staff's expertise will ensure a quality part. Rotationally moulded components can be colour-matched or customized to meet your specific requirements. This form of moulding can accommodate small and large parts for both indoor and outdoor applications. Products are moulded with UV inhibitors to maintain stability and longevity when exposed to the elements. Rotational moulding offers a number of design strengths including virtually stress-free and uniform wall thickness, as well as strong outside corners.

Rotational moulding has economic advantages over other types of processes. When compared to injection or blow moulding, rotational moulding can produce large and small parts in a very cost effective manner. Tooling is far less expensive and minor modifications can be made to an existing mould. This makes rotational moulding cost effective for one of a kind prototypes or large production runs.
